9/20/2011 - Dollar General Robbery Suspect

On Tuesday, 09/20/11, at approximately 9:15pm San Angelo Police were called to the Dollar General Store located at 2934 N. Chadbourne. Upon arrival, they learned that a Man wearing a bandana had entered the store brandishing a handgun and demanded money.

The Store Clerk complied with his request and gave him money from the register. The Suspect then ran from the store.

Witnesses described the Suspect as being approximately 5` 1" tall, a Hispanic male, possibly 40 to 50 years old. This incident is still under investigation. The assigned Detective is Brian Elkins.

4/6/2011 - Best Buy Theft Suspects

Within the past week, the same suspects have hit the San Angelo Best Buy twice, Weatherford once and made an attempt on Abilene’s Best Buy. Security footage showed either a very dark H/M or middle eastern male between 25 and 30 years of age. He was between 5`8 and 6`0, 170lb to 190lbs, with black hair and a thin beard with no mustache. The unknown male was wearing black shoes, blue jeans, and a long sleeve shirt. It is believed they are traveling in a dark or black colored truck, possibly a Dodge or Chevy in the mid 2000’s year model.

The MO for each store is the same: The suspect walks into the store and browses for up to half an hour and then leaves. Within two minutes, he returns, grabs several laptops and walks out the door.

2/1/2011 - Stolen Dump Trailer

Between 1/29/11 & 1/30/11 a tan tandem axle trailer with hydraulic lift - LP# 669 31E - was taken from Angelo Stone and Masonry, 1313 N. Bryant. This is a BIG TEX trailer. The tan color is special as most are black.
