| 5/10/2011 - Armed Robbery of Stripes Store | |
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
On May 9, 2011 at approximately 3:30 a.m., San Angelo Police were dispatched to an armed robbery at the Stripes Store located at 1542 S Bell.
Witnesses at the scene stated a white male came into the store, pulled a bag out of a pocket and pointed a handgun at the Clerk. He told the Clerk to empty all of the money from the register into the bag. The Clerk gave him an undisclosed amount of money from the register and the Suspect left the store.
The suspect was described as 6` tall, thin, late 20`s to early 30`s with curly blond hair. This case is under investigation and no other information is available at this time. Detective Chris Soto is assigned to this case.

| | 7/27/2009 - Theft from Texon in Big Lake, Tx | This story was aired through Odessa Crime Stoppers.
Sometime between 4 PM on May 31st and 7 AM on June 1st, an unknown person cut a gate chain on the field office at the Texon Big Lake Field which is located 13 miles west of Big Lake. Once inside the office, the individual stole a Dell Precision 490 Mini Tower desk top computer and two monitors. The computer was loaded with Allen Bradley automation software. Also taken was a large box of Allen Bradley parts. An extensive investigation leads law enforcement to believe the individual involved may have been attempting to sell this equipment in our area. If you are a victim of this individual and have purchased this computer unknowingly, please contact Crime Stoppers immediately. In addition, the oil and gas corporation involved is offering a separate $15,000 reward for the arrest and conviction of the individual responsible for this theft.
