1/26/2016 - Aggravated Robbery

Yesterday, January 25, 2016 at approximately 10:00 pm, San Angelo Police were dispatched to the 7-11 in the 2200 block of N. Chadbourne for a report of a robbery. 

 

The store clerk stated a Hispanic male came into the store wearing a hood covering his head. The suspect approached the counter and pulled out a black handgun and demanded the money from the register.

 

The suspect was described as a Hispanic male, approximately 5 foot 7 inches and in his late twenties to early thirties. The suspect wore two hoodies. The outside hoodie was black in color and had a white “3” on the right arm. The second hoodie was black in color and had a blue “Superman” symbol in the middle. 

 

The suspect left the store with an undisclosed amount of cash.  The suspect has not been located at this time.

San Angelo Police and San Angelo Crime Stoppers need your help in identifying a burglary suspect.

 

On December 23, 2015, San Angelo Police were dispatched to Reagan Elementary for a burglary alarm.  After checking the facility, Officers determined that someone entered the school and rummaged through file cabinets and drawers.  SAISD Officials responded and reported no items appeared to have been stolen. On December 10, 2015 at 3:55 a.m., a carwash on the 3400 BLK of Sherwood Way was burglarized. The pictured subject drove up in a white 4-door pickup truck with a black tool box and black headache rack. He then used various tools to try to pry open the coin box, but was unsuccessful.

11/13/2015 - Unauthorized Use of Vehicle/Recovered

San Angelo Police and San Angelo Crime Stoppers need your help in identifying the suspects in the video.

 

At approximately 3:40 a.m. on November 2, 2015, two unknown suspects were going around America’s Best Value Inn, searching for unlocked vehicles. One of the suspects opened a door to a vehicle belonging to Big Horn Energy Services, and both suspects quickly left in the vehicle. The vehicle was later found off of Paint Rock Road.

 

The suspects were described as a White Male with a flat bill cap, a white hoodie and carrying a tan backpack. The other suspect was a Hispanic Male with a mustache and a brown coat.

9/25/2015 - Crime of the Week (9/25/15- 10/2/15) Burglary of Building

The San Angelo Police Department and San Angelo Crime Stoppers need your help!

On September 5, 2015, San Angelo Police were dispatched to the 3500 block of Knickerbocker Road for a burglary of a building.

Officers discovered the front door to the building had been shattered due to a rock the size of a softball. Further investigation revealed that the subjects took prescription medications, money and a gun.

In the video, a white or light-colored vehicle drives up to the building and parks away from the door. Several subjects run into the building very quickly and within a few minutes, they run out.

Hit and Run

 

Crime Stoppers and the San Angelo Police Department are asking for your help in solving a Hit and Run causing a fatality.

 

On August 2, 2015, Police responded to the 1300 block of South Chadbourne around 2:30 a.m for an unconscious person in the roadway. A 21-year-old Joe Carlos Lopez of San Angelo had been stuck and killed while riding his skateboard.

 

Lopez was struck by a vehicle that was southbound on Chadbourne Street near E. Avenue I while riding his skateboard in the outside lane.

 

Police are searching for the hit-and-run driver. The suspect vehicle may be a late-nineties to early two-thousand model Ford Explorer or Expedition with damage to the headlight area.

 

If you are the first person to provide information identifying the suspect and vehicle and it leads to an arrest, you could earn up to $1000 reward this week (8/4/15-8/11/15).

7/8/2015 - Burglary

Public Release Bulletin

 

 

On July 8th, 2015, Police responded to a burglary in the Lake Drive area. During the investigation, it was discovered that person or persons had entered a building without consent and took item(s) of value without consent. There is a video of this incident and has been attached to this bulletin for viewing.

The owner of the stolen property is now offering a cash reward of up to $50,000 for information leading to the recovery of the stolen property and the arrest and conviction of those responsible. The owner reserves the right to allocate the reward among multiple sources of information. The owner is appealing to the public to assist police with their investigation. Any witness who was in the area at the time and observed this incident or with information is urged to contact San Angelo Police Department Detective Michael Gaeta at 325-657-4387 or San Angelo Crime Stoppers at (325) 658-HELP. You can remain anonymous regarding any information that is shared.
