The San Angelo Crime Stoppers Program began in 1981 from the efforts of our City Commission and our Police Department. Crime Stoppers works with not only the San Angelo Police department but the surrounding areas as well, we assist other states, cities and counties.

     Our Primary purpose is to obtain information about crimes, wanted persons and criminal activities, to motivate members of the public to cooperate with law enforcement agencies and to reward such cooperation.

      To assist law enforcement in the solving of crime through community awareness and involvement.
